Marshall Hanwell - amplifier-shaped home audio

Marshall1

It is 50 years since the first Marshall amplifier appeared in the original store in Hanwell, London. To celebrate, Marshall has a new product out, the appropriately-named Marshall Hanwell.

This might look like an amp, but it's actually a home audio system. Probably one of the coolest ones around. It looks every bit like the iconic amplifier, with a wooden cabinet and black vinyl cover. But this one is designed for your personal audio player. Just plug in that player and enjoy great Marshall-like tone via dual long-throw woofers and hi-fi tweeters within.

There's also an analogue power switch and controls for volume, bass and treble. No price as yet, but this should be on the shelves before Christmas.
