The company only launched today as far as we can see, but Mid Century Kitchens is certainly an interesting proposition.

It is pretty much what you would imagine it being, a company dedicated to making 1950s-inspired kitchen, but with one eye still on the modern era. So expect craftsmen-made units using quality materials and using retro-styled modern appliances too, like Gorenje 50s-inspired fridges for example.

The gallery and images so far on show are quite limited (primarily, what we have on show here), but if you want to know more, you can get in touch with the company via the website or you can catch them at the Grand Designs Live show in October.

As for price, including the appliances, a price point of £15,000 is being quoted. So certainly not a budget option.
