In the market for some statement lighting for a retro room? Might be worth having a closer look at this midcentury Danish three-drop hanging light.
Not a lot is known about the maker. In fact, the seller doesn't offer anything at all, just that light is Danish and midcentury. We would guess late 1960s, but we're not entirely sure.
Not that any of that matters, the light itself is the star of the show. It has three aluminium, 'trumpet' shaped shades coming together via a single ceiling plate. The outside of the shades is brushed aluminium, while the inside is lacquered orange. There are also openings at the top of the shades, producing lighting effects.
It is said to be in 'good condition', with 'some scratches due to age and use', but no dents or misshaping. The current price is £7.77.
