Chris Eckersley Byrdhouses

Byrdhouse

No that isn't a typo - Chris Eckersley has created a birdhouse called Byrdhouse.

As the spelling would suggest, the birdhouses were inspired by the band The Byrds.  Chris Eckersley had seen a video on YouTube of the band playing on American television against a backdrop of quirky birdhouses. So he decided to make his own range.  There are three designs; Gabled, Pyramid (pictured above) and Conical. They are all made from zinc-coated steel which prevents rust but is easier to clean than wood. Such whimisical fun comes at a price though with each one costing £325.

Visit the Chris Eckersley website to order.
