Gunnar Flørning Siamese Cat
Out of production for many years, Gunnar Flørning's Siamese Cat is now available once more.
The wood carved cat was one of the most popular of Gunnar Flørning designs for Danish company Laurids Lønborg in the middle of the last century. It was originally created in 1958 and sold more than 300,000 pieces across Europe. Sadly Flørning was forced to quit the wood carving business in 1965 due to developing an allergy to wood dust. But happily for us his designs are now back. The cat is available in either black or natural wood and cost £46.95.
