1950s Le Corbusier Le Projecteur 365 floor lamp reissued by Nemo

Corbusier

It has actually been reissued as a pendant light and a wall light too, but we think the Le Corbusier Le Projecteur 365 floor lamp is the pick of this reissued trio.

The reissues are via Nemo, in conjunction with the Le Corbusier Foundation, with all three designs dating back to 1954 originally. Not that you can tell, this industrial-inspired design is pretty timeless (although it is worth noting that the light has been subtly updated for the modern market).

The finished floor lamp is made ofd aluminium, with an anthracite/sandblasted finish to enhance that industrial feel. It's quite a substantial thing too, around 50cm high and with a diameter of 36cm. Powered by a halogen tuber bulb (not included), this is very much an investment piece, selling in the UK for just over £750.

(Note that the seller also has the wall and ceiling versions too).
