eBay watch: 1960s midcentury-style teak bar

Last week (I think) we featured a bar, making the point that bars don't have to be loud and kitsch. To hammer the point home, check out this 1960s midcentury-style teak bar.

It's just a lovely bit of furniture and if you want a bar for your living room, this one is as cool as you are likely to see. Not a great deal about its past, the seller calls is Danish style and points out that it might be by Turnidge of London, but that sounds like a bit of guesswork.

So let's stick to the facts, which is a teak construction, black laminate top and with its original key. Storage behind, as you would expect, with condition described as 'good used' - marks on a par with age and use.

£425 is the 'buy it now' price, which sounds a bit hefty to us, but you can make a lower offer.
