As you may recall from her other products we've featured, Gillian Kyle is Scottish and her national pride tends to be reflected in her work, albeit often in a humourous way. This latest collection has been produced in collaboration with illustrator Clare Forrest and celebrates colourful characters from Scotland's past. The heroes include Robert Burns, Mary Queen of Scots, Bonnie Prince Charlie, Alexander Graham Bell, plus a pair of villains in the notorious body snatchers Burke and Hare. Of course, being design enthusiasts, our favourite is the celebration of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, described as architect, designers and super 'tache.
