Marimekko Kompotti coasters

Taken from Marimekko's spring collection but with a definite retro flavour, there's plenty of things to like about these Kompotti coasters. 

Each coaster is decorated with a different image of a sliced-open vegetable, in a manner reminiscent of Marianne Westman's 1950s Picknick design. Aino-Maija Metsola's take, however, is bursting with all the colour and vibrancy you'd expect from a Marimekko design, depicted in zingy oranges, yellows and blues.

The design is available across various kitchen products, including pot holders, chopping boards and mugs.
