Poster Art 150 at London Transport Museum

Tate tube

We mentioned Poster Art 150 at the London Transport Museum briefly at the end of last year but this celebration of 150 years of the tube is now underway in Covent Garden.

The exhibition features 150 of the greatest posters ever produced and regular readers will know the startling breadth and diversity of design this covers, from works by Man Ray and Paul Nash to Tate Gallery by Tube by Nancy Fowler (featured above); a personal favourite from 1986. The exhibit is on display at the London Transport Museum from now until October 1st and well worth a look.

Posters are available to buy from £9.95 for A4 to £95 for A0 and limited mini prints measuring 28 x 35cm and costing £5.95 have also been produced to accompany the exhibition. Find out more here.
