eBay watch: 1970s Clan Crusader sports car
if the name Clan means nothing, we're hardly surprised. The company only made cars between 1971 and 1974, with the Crusader being the headline act, designed by former Lotus engineers.
This one is apparently one of the earliest models, used by the company's MD and as a demonstrator model. As it's so early, it is also tax exempt. But it's no relic, with the car rebuilt in 2003 (all receipts are included in the sale), with just a few chips and the 'odd scrape' from the intervening years.
You can see all the work done on this 875cc car listed on the eBay page, along with a plethora of images of this unusual British sports car. If you want a bid, the price right now is £570.
