Lars chair and stool from House of Fraser

Pieces that look a lot more luxe than its high street origin, that's the Lars chair and stool from House of Fraser. 

They're part of a new collection for the department store called Living by Christiane Lemieux. Lemieux is better known as part of the US brand, Dwell Studio, who offer modern interpretations of retro style.

That's certainly what you get with this design. With a nod to the Barcelona chair, the chair and accompanying footstool made from luxurious Italian leather with button detailing. These are set on a wooden frame with mid-century styling, creating a unique retro look. 

And the prices for the pieces? The occasional chair will cost you £829, while the footstool is priced at £499.
