Baggage book

Baggage, written by Samuil Marshak and illustrated by artist Vladimir Lebedev, was first published in Russia in 1926. But this English-language reissue is sure to win some new fans, kids and adults alike.

Released by Tate Publishing, the 12 pages of this small but perfectly formed childrens book tells the story of the adventure of one lady, her luggage, and her charming pooch. Originally commissioned by the Commissariat of Enlightenment to help educate the children of the Russian revolution, this book now showcases this period of avant garde creativity, and is sure to win over even the most capitalist of consumers.

It's currently available for £8.96 from Amazon.
