Jeff Koons exhibition at Brighton Museum & Art Gallery

If you're heading to the coast this summer and fancy taking in some culture whilst indulging in fish & chips and penny waterfalls, you may want to check out the new Jeff Koons exhibition at Brighton Museum & Art Gallery.

Koons is one of the seminal postmodern artists who rose to fame in the 1980s, taking 60s pop art sensibilities and applying them household products and all kinds of kitsch & camp ephemera. Best nown for his statue of Michael Jackson & his monkey Bubbles and countless giant balloon animals, a selection of Koons' whimsical, tongue in cheek works, including Winter Bears pictured above, will be on show in Brighton from 11th May until the beginning of September.
