We often feature new products that look retro, but the Kubus 4 is design that could easily pass for modern.
Judging by its minimalist shape, it could easily be mistaken for a new design or perhaps taken from something from the slick 1980s, but in fact this is a classic design from 1962. Designed by architect Mogens Lassen, the Kubus 4 was ahead of its time with its simple, precise shape a reaction against the overly ornate and elaborate designs of that time. Since then it has become a design classic, albeit a pretty unassuming looking one. It is available in either black or white – top plain white candles to maintain the monochrome style.
