The Spark Wallpaper in Zoffany's Quartz range has a decidely 1950s look to it – but its origins go much further back than that.
The design is based on a print called Essex & Co, a sunburst design from the Zoffany archives, dating back to the early 1900s. It would have originally been used as a ceiling paper, but nowadays we'd probably just suggest keeping it to your walls. The print has been updated with the use of metallics inks and foils and is now available in a choice of five colourways; sapphire, gold, chalk, linen/silver and ebay.
