Safari-Chair

It's unlikely to see anywhere more exciting than your home but French Connection's Safari chair suggests the possibility of all kinds of adventures.

It takes its inspiration from 1930s designs by the likes of Kaare Klint and Mogens Koch, themselves influenced by the light and portable chairs used by officers and explorers.

This chair uses the classic combination of wood, canvas and suede but the pale colour scheme helps to give it more of a contemporary look.

It's available for £275.
