A fabulous old pattern gets a new lease of life, thanks to a new product range at New House Textiles which includes this Crazy Pots tray.
The birch tray is decorated with a pattern of sketchy black and white plant forms, sitting in an array of colourful pots. Though it has got the same fresh and light feel as the rest of his output, you may not recognise the pattern as the work of Olle Eksell, the Swedish graphic designer whose posters we featured earlier this year.
This great mid-century pattern has been used across a wide range of products, from fabric lengths and tea towels to chopping boards and coasters.
