Midcentury-style John Lewis Barbican II armchair

It seems to be a new arrival, but you can get the John Lewis Barbican II armchair as a 'special buy' as part of the John Lewis Clearance, which has just started.

I think it's at a price to entice you in, but to be honest, the design is enough for us. Not to be confused with the original Barbican armchair, this sequel of sorts is available in a choice of red or blue fabric or alternatively a more pricier leather option (pictured below).

All have a design inspired by the mid-20th century, some lovely curves, a sloped back and a wooden frame for support.

£599 gets you the fabric version and £899 the leather option.

Find out more at the John Lewis website

Note that there is also a sofa version and snuggled version available. More on those here.
