We have featured items like this in the past, but none quite the same as this 1950s midcentury-style sewing box.
It's a lovely thing, ideal for wannabe crafters or simply as piece of furniture to store your bits and pieces. Works on both levels, I think. The box is made from a mix of wood and plywood, finished with a teak laminate. There's also a top handle and some stylish angled legs for support.
According to the seller, it is in 'very good condition', with a 'few age related marks and scratches'. The price right now is just 95 pence.
