You see the Fiat 500, old and new, pretty much everywhere these days. But you perhaps don't see something like this 1950s Fiat 500c Topolino on the road.
It's a stunning period ride, first registered in 1955 and sold with its original buff log book (RF60) and its current V5C document. It is also MOT exempt and road tax is free.
According to the seller, the right-hand drive car retains its original registration number, but has had a partial restoration with rebuilt engine, gearbox, full brake and steering overhaul. The body and chassis are said to be solid and rot free but 'would benefit from a repaint'. Included in the sale are approximately £1000 of new spares, a letter from the previous owner listing all the work done to the car and an english workshop manual plus a parts book.
All in all, an impressive vehicle which needs a little work to get to showroom standard. The price is £4,500, with an option to put in a lower offer if you want to do that.
