It like something out a movie or the kind of place you might expect a James Bond villain to be hanging out in. But it's actually a 1960s modernist property in Les Vigneaux, Hautes-Alpes, Southeastern France, hardly touched over the decades.

We don't have much background on the place, so we're letting the images guide us. They should an angular build that fits in with the mountainous terrain, huge balconies to take in the views and once inside, a mix of stone, concrete and wood, not to mention a substantial gallery and allsorts of cool period fittings.

There is around 350 sq. metres, including six bedrooms and five bathrooms, along with lots of open plan reception space. You'll also find tennis facilities, ski stations and hiking routes nearby, so plenty to keep you amused too.

The house is up for sale at €995,000, which is around £842,000. You can see more images at the WowHaus site or you can see the official details at the agent's site.
