eBay watch: 1970s JVC Videosphere TV

I don't think they make the money they did a few years back, but this 1970s JVC Videosphere TV is still a potential bargain.

As you might know, the TV was produced from 1970, designed to look like a space helmet, no doubt to capitalise on the excitement of the Moon landing not long before.

This one is said to be in 'fantastic condition', with 'no cracks on case or visor'. It is also sold with the hanging chain and aerial. Of course, technology has changed, so this is black and white, as well as requiring a Freeview box to work in the UK. The other option is to use this as a cool piece of interior decoration.

The price right now, if you want to bid, is £35.
