Swoon Editions is a name that has been cropping up a lot on this site recently due to their low cost but highly desirable retro pieces. Here's another reason to join the fan club – this 1960s-style Mimi chair which goes on sale today.
This is a very cool number, available at a price that belies its looks. Wide and low, with tapered oak legs it's a classy and comfy looking piece of mid-century influenced design. It comes in a smart graphite upholstery, with two rows of sky blue buttons added for contrast.
As we've noted before, part of the reason Swoon Editions can keep their costs down is because they produce their pieces in limited numbers. Extra limited in the case of this chair – there are only ten available.
