You might have noticed that we have featured a few desks of late. That's no coincidence – we are actively looking for a new desk for the house and as such, we're scouring as many sites as possible to find 'the one'. We're not sure this Buro desk by Pols Potten would quite fit our home office, but we're guessing it would be ideal for someone.
This is a modern Dutch design, but at first glance, we would have had it down as late 1940s or into the 1950s. It certainly has that look. Nice and simple, it is a wood construction with a varnished finish and a substantial drawer, which is alongside a smaller shelf area.
If your needs are a surface, some space for your essentials and something that would fit an early midcentury-style room, this would be ideal. At L 100cm x 50cm x 75cm it doesn't have a huge footprint either.
