You might know of the retailer Dunelm (previously Dunelm Mill), which is a rapidly growing chain on the high street. We have spotted some curtains and upholstery there in the past, but nothing as significant as the Skandi bed and bedroom furniture collection.
It's one of the better midcentury and Scandinavian-inspired furniture ranges around and although not cheap, it's certainly in the affordable price bracket, as you would expect from the retailer.
The headline act here is that wonderful oak bedstead, with its curved headboard finished with a mercury woollen cloth and four stylish tapered legs. But it's not the only thing worthy of note.
The oak theme continues with a tall chest of darers, a wide chest of dealers and a stylish double wardrobe. Even better is the nightstand with angled legs, the dressing table (also with long pointed legs and fold-up mirror), a storage stool to go with it and a bridging unit.
We love it all and if you are starting from scratch kitting out a bedroom, it could be a one stop solution. The bed retails from £599.99, with the rest of the range priced from £149.99.
