Obviously the back view is very much 2014, but a look at the front of the Olympus Stylus SH-1 compact camera and we're getting the 1960s.
The selling point here, looks aside, is something called five-axis image stabilisation in 2012, which means sharper (less blurry) stills and steady video recording. Great if there's movement or a shaky hand at play.
It also has a 25-600mm 24x optical zoom lens, a 16-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor and TruePic VII processor, along with a 3-inch 460k-dot LCD screen, a burst mode, Wi-Fi, art filters, smart panorama and a full manual mode to name just some of the features.
So not just a pretty face. Although that's certainly the thing that caught our attention. No UK price as yet, but in the US, it will land in May for $400.
