The John Lewis 150 Years range really is the gift that keeps in giving. Every time you delve into it, you find another gem. Or even gems in the case of these Lucienne Day for John Lewis fabrics.

There are three cloths available in a limited run, although two are essentially the same design in a different colour scheme. The designs are Forest (above and below) along with Panama at the bottom of the page. All are reissued cloths that were exclusive designs by Lucienne Day for John Lewis between the 1950s and 1970s, when Lucienne and husband Robin Day were design consultants for the store.

If you want to buy, they are 100 per cent cotton, sold in 137cm widths and available for £30 per metre online.

Note that there is also a 1950s-inspired clothing range on the John Lewis site featuring Lucienne Day designs too. You can browse that here.
