David Bowie gig poster

We've had albums and song lyrics reworked as books. But our favourites yet are possibly these ultra cool gig posters as book cover prints by The Stereo Typist

This Brighton-based illustrator and designer has taken some top 'wish you were here' concerts and recast their posters in the style of the minimalist Penguin/Pelican book designs of the 1960s. There are a huge range to pick from, including Bowie (as shown above), The Who, Blondie and Kraftwerk. All are executed in great eye-catching colours so they'd look fabulous both individually and as a group.

But, if you really can't decide which one(s) to go for, take a look at the 'Ultimate Music Geek' pictured below, which brings together all of the covers as one print.

They're available at a great price too. Each of the individual gig prints are £15 each, while the 'Ultimate' is priced at £60.
