Always nice to see a mid-20th century design being revived, in this case the Nucleus Chair from Tetrad.

The chair dates from the 1970s, but if you’ve looked at the photo you probably don’t need us to tell you that. The design is pretty much unchanged, still made by the same craftsman responsible for the original chair decades ago.

The one difference? Well, the leather finish of the past has been replaced by a Harris Tweed finish. Different, but it still looks impressive to us and still works well with the chrome frame.

The design doesn’t come cheap, but it’s a well-made piece of furniture that should last for a very long time. £1,139 is the asking price for the chair, with £628 the price of a matching footstool.
