These midcentury-style British school chairs by Olivia Scott-Taylor offer a contemporary take on a classic vintage look.
The chairs reflect the mid-century classic laminated ply and tube steel chairs that were so common in British classrooms from the 1930s to the 1960s. Although not vintage pieces, these chairs are manufactured in the UK in the traditional manner.
They are then given their own unique look with hand-painted stripes and a lacquer finish. There are a whole range of designs to pick from, with subtle tweaks to the chair's seat, back or frame detail, but if you can't find the exact spec you're after, you can request to have one made especially.
