The design might look familiar as we have featured similar pieces in the past. That includes the Acapulco chair at Graham and Green and the Coco chairs at Swoon Editions. But the Beach Shack string chair at BHS has one thing on its side – a much-reduced price tag.
That’s bot surprising as these are essentially summer chairs. But they also work in a sun room or conservatory and can, of course, be bought and put away until next year.
It’s a strong look whatever you do with it, a chair that’s good for outdoors use and with that ‘string’ design, has a wonderful midcentury look when you do take them outdoors in the sun.
The chair has a metal tube frame with PE wire seating and is available in a lime or black finish. In the past these were £130 each, but right now you can get the chairs for £45 each. A steal.
