If you love the movie Roman Holiday, we have the perfect wheels for you – this 1953 Vespa Faro Basso scooter.
This model dates from the same year as that movie (1953) and looks pretty much like the same model to us. Check out the photos from the film online and see what you think. Looks like it to us.
That model is the 125 Low Light or Faro Basso, with this one restored without going over the top and keeping the period detailing, such as the controls and the horn.
Everything is apparently working as it should (gears, clutch, steering) and the scoot also has the original steering lock and key. Also part of the deal are three new tyres, a speedometer, a spare wheel and a pillion seat.
It looks amazing in its original shade of green and right now it is at £2,750 on eBay.
