If it’s an era you love, then you really need to check out Art Deco Collectibles: Fashionable Objets from the Jazz Age.

Pitched as the first definitive book on the subject, this 272-page volume by  Rodney and Diana Capstick-Dale covers all things stylish that came out of the art deco period of the 1920s and 1930s.

Expect cigarette cases and lighters, powder compacts, minaudières and cosmetic accessories, watches and jewellery, and even cameras, all showcased through a mix of high-quality photography and carefully researched period illustrations, including film stills and advertisements of there day.

Much of what’s here are sought after collectibles and as such, its likely to be the ideal reference book for potential buyers of these objects. The hardback book lands in April via Thames and Hudson and is available to pre-order now, selling for £34.95.
