Always worth keeping an eye on Moleskine and its limited edition designs. Pretty much always interesting and often retro too. The Beatles limited edition Yellow Submarine notebooks are the latest arrival and they certainly do not disappoint.
Like the movie itself, this is a cartoon-style, psychedelic ‘60s take on the Fav Four and not just confined to the outer covers. That graphic them continues on the notebook endpapers as we as the book inself. That includes the introductory pages and the stickers, which are also based on the band and the movie.
The notebooks are typical Moleskine quality, with rounded corners, elastic closure, matching bookmark ribbon, ivory-coloured paper, an expandable inner pocket and much more. As much a collector’s piece of design as a notebook.
