To be honest, Marks & Spencer isn’t the first place we would look for retro style, but that is where we spotted this 1960s-inspired contrasting edge dress.

In fact, we spotted it on the racks of our local store, so if you want to see it close up, pop into yours. If not, you can obviously buy it online in either the navy or red colour option.

Part of the retailer’s ‘limited edition’ range, this is a ‘skater dress’ shape with a tailored fit and funnel neck, with the (presumably non-functioning) pockets at the waist and the buttons on the shoulder being the stand out details.

As we said, two colours in sizes 6 through to 18 and each selling for £39.50.
