Yes, this is a retro icon. Only Tretchikoff Beats by Mr Mitty is a variation on the original theme.
Of course, the original artwork is the Lady of the Orient by Vladimir Tretchikoff, a much sought after image form the 1950s that was once hugely popular on living room walls. It still is, which is probably down to its status as a kitsch classic. You can still get the original if you want it.
The new version is a giclée print by contemporary artist Mr Mitty printed onto Fine Art Paper as a limited edition of 100, each signed and numbered by the artist. Of course, the difference here is the addition of a pair of oversized headphones, which seem to work quite well.
Anyway, if you want one, the price is £160. Alternatively check those reprints on keep an eye on eBay for something vintage.
