Yes, this is a new piece, but one with a strong midcentury modern influence. If I was pushed, I would say it’s a design that fits in well with a 1950s-inspired setting, but it is also a table that would sit within a 1960s or any generally retro setting.
I think that’s down to the dark mango wood and brass finish, along with the design itself. Angled legs and a shelf below that catches the eye with the use of those thin brass rods. A great place to store your magazines or to leave those design books for passers-by to look at enviously.
