These have been talked about for weeks. Now the KAWS x Sesame Street toys have landed at Uniqlo.
Not just toys, this is a range of both clothing and toys featuring classic Sesame Street characters. But the toys are the big selling point.
Who is KAWS? Well, KAWS is Brian Donnelly, a highly popular American artist and designer whose works can command huge prices. Which is why this range is such a big deal.
How work in the past has included ‘reworking’ cartoon classics, including the likes of Mickey Mouse, the Michelin Man, the Smurfs, Snoopy, and SpongeBob SquarePants. This range is very much in that line, with a tweak to the design of the much-loved puppet favourites with his trademark ‘x’. Yes, as you probably noticed, for the eyes.
Take your pick from Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert or Ernie and don’t hang about. These toys are already low stock and are likely to sell out before the end of the day. Each one sells for £24.90 if you want a future collectable.
If the toys aren’t you, then perhaps you want to check out the clothing range, with t-shirts and sweatshirts bearing the images of the characters and some KAWS touches also available for men, women and children. So essentially big and small kids.
Again, it is Uniqlo, so prices are on the affordable side. Expect to pay from around £12 for each. Again, sizes will go, so don’t hang about if you like the idea of one or more.
