This dressing table from Alexander and Pearl isn't the first we've featured that takes inspiration from the Art Deco style and I'm sure it won't be the last. The period works really well for a piece of furniture that's meant to evoke glamour.
This piece certainly is glamorous, with its mirrored finish and curved shape. The mirror folds down flat, giving it a practical use as a table too when not required for make-up touch-ups. There are two concealed drawers too, perfect for stashing away beauty secrets.
The table costs £625 with the matching stool costing an additional £275.

More retro-goodness from John Lewis, this time inspired by the 1930s with their Art Deco-style Astoria range.
It's a set of furniture – mostly intended for hall and living room use, with the exception of a chest of drawers – with mirrored finishes and chic black detailing that sums up the glamour of that period. Pictured is the half moon console table, typical of the range's elegant looks. Its stylish curves are topped off by the glass-effect knobs used on drawers that open to reveal a black lining.
Prices start at £99 for a cube side table and go up to £329 for the chest of drawers. The table pictured is £199.

You can rely on Graham and Green to provide a touch of glamour to your home and this Art Deco side table from their Spring range is no exception.
The table is as alluring as you'd expect from the name, with a circular top and base, joined by tulip-shaped stems. In tribute to the Deco style, the stems are mirrored. The only question is whether the rest of your lounge is sophisticated enough to go with it…
It costs £235 from their website
