Design conscious caffeine addicts will be delighted by this new take on the classic 1930s Bialetti coffee pot by colour connoisseurs Pantone.
Where would we be without Pantone? From colour charts to kichenwear, the company has come a long way from its humble beginnings in commercial printing in the 1950s. Pantone: The 20th Century In Color is an epic compendium of iconic design as told through the Pantone colour chart.
The design features tasteful graphic snowflakes set against one of four Pantone colours. Choose from the metallic shades of Silver 877c or Gold 871c, or the very Christmassy colours of Red 032c or Green 354c.
The cards are sold individually, priced £2 each, from Nineteen Seventy Three.
So0me weeks back, we featured a Pantone men's bicycle in red, which was (and still is) available at Heals. Well, Made in Design has gone one better than that – offering up this entire Pantone retro-styled women's city bike range by Abici.
Impressive designs they are too – each one is handmade in Italy, with the vintage-style design, steel frame, a tan leather saddle, retro head lamp and of course, a Pantone shade and branding. Look out for the Pantone name and the specific Pantone number relating to the colour.
14-0848 is pictured above, with another example, 627C, pictured over the page. £761 secures you one – see all the colours at the site
