Gold Cassette Watch by EOS New York

Cassette
Cassettes may be a dead format to the uninitiated masses but we still love them and it seems that the good people at EOS New York do too.

This 80s-tastic Gold Cassette Watch is a fittingly fabulous tribute to our beloved tapes. Every tiny detail has been thought of, from the laser-etched details on the watch face (extra Brownie points for the cute retro robot in the bottom corner!), to the moving reels that rotate the tape fully every 60 minutes. The only downside is you can't record all your favourite tunes onto it but we can't have everything.

If you love it as much as we do, it can be yours for £120 from Harvey Nichols. See their website for more details.

WeWood retro-style Crono watches at Eco Age

Wewood1

Not just a quirky, retro-style design, the WeWood Crono watches are eco-friendly too.

The Eco Age store in Chiswick, London, is the only place you can get 'hands on' in the UK with these, although anyone can buy online. If you do, you can enjoy that retro watch face and a construction both eco-friendly and completely absent of artificial and toxic materials.

Choose from four different types of sustainable wood (maple, ebony, guanaco and red wing celtis) for your watch, all with a Miyota movement, alarm/stopwatch and backlight. Want one? £85 secures you one online. More images over the page.
