If money were no object in my life, I’d be down to the nearest stockist to order my Faralli and Mazzanti Antas.
Apparently designed after an in-depth study of Italian car styling between the 1930s and 1960s, the car’s exterior oozes retro style, with a mix of old and new inside and under the bonnet too.
The Antas features a 4.7-litre Maserati V8 engine which has been stripped and re-built with old-fashioned carburettors. Inside, the seats are hand-stitched in leather, while the roof lining is woven in wool. There’s no rear view mirror – instead, there’s a hi-tech reversing camera in the rear fin, which sends images to a TV screen in the car.
The car has a top speed of 168mph, can do 0-60 in 5 seconds and will set you back around £150,000. One for after the Lotto win I’d say.
