The Space Clock

We love this clock.

Looking like something from the future, or more likely the 70s, the Space Clock actually much older, designed by Angelo Mangiarotti in 1956 for an Italian luxury yacht.

It stands at just 6 inches tall, but packs an awful lot of design into that small space.  The base of the clock is high quality porcelain, with the clockwork mechanism made of metal and the clock lid solid acrylic glass.

The Space Clock is manufactured to a high spec in Germany, but we’ve only been able to find them for sale in the USA. Though the good news is that the retailer, Nova 68, offers free shipping.

Just as well as it retails for $290.
