Saint Etienne’s Festival of Britain

Turntable Saint Etienne are artists in residence at the South Bank Centre right now, kicking off their showcase with a series of monthly club nights, each featuring DJs, film and live acts around a central theme.

The first of these is Turntable Cafe, based around the 1951 Festival Of Britain.  No specific details are available, except to expect "ale and bunting, skiffle, jazz and rock ‘n’ roll".

It’s on Thursday 28th September from 8pm at the Festival Square Cafe, Festival Square, South Bank Centre, London. Tickets are £7.50. We’ll see you there.
