Spacehopper table

Ok, we’ll come clean – this isn’t actually a spacehopper, but it looks very much like one.

It’s real name is the Zzzidt and its been designed by Richard Hutten, originally for the Centraal Museum in Utrecht, which wanted something for restaurant visitors to sit outside.

What he came up with was a stool/table, with a handle so it can be carried around the garden (presumably, to where the sun is). It’s now available to buy, priced at £95.

We wouldn’t recommend you make your own by cutting off the top of your spacehopper – it might be a bit of deflating experience.
