After completely losing faith in the label a few years back, I find myself being attracted back to Fred Perry of late – probably because they’re concentrating more on some of the classics that made them such a sought-after label in the first place.
We’ve covered much of the knitwear and polo range in the past, but we haven’t covered the footwear, like these Fred Perry Table Tennis shoes. There’s nothing radical about them – they’re just lightweight white canvas and suede shoes, with a gum sole unit and side logo. But it’s this simplicity that makes them so appealing.
They retail at £45, which seems reasonable. But don’t expect them to last much beyond that first deep puddle you step in.
