Vitra Asterisk Clock

During his design career, George Nelson mixed functional design (like the first modular storage system in the 60s) with more quirky design – like the Asterisk Clock.

Designed in 1950 and manufactured by Vitra, you can see instantly why it got its name – it’s in the shape of an asterisk. It’s 25cm (10 inch) diameter, with a blackground and white hands, made of wood, lacquer and metal.

Almost ageless and a solid investment at £130.
