It might look fairly unassuming in the picture, but Langham House Close is Grade II-listed British mid-century design – and you can buy one of the apartments now up for sale.
Langham House Close was designed in 1955 by James Stirling and James Gowan and has since been described by the Twentieth Century Society as ‘a benchmark against which other apartment blocks can be measured. The larger of the two apartments for sale is a two-bedroom ground floor apartment, with trademark exposed brickwork, raw concrete details and balconies overlooking communal gardens.
See the Modern House site for more photos and an extensive history. And if that appeals, offers are around £320,000 (or £265,000 for the smaller one-bedroom apartment). There’s also a viewing day in early April.
