Tongue

Sometimes words just seem a little unnecessary – after all, it’s pretty obvious why the Pierre Paulin Tongue Chair is so named.

Yes, it looks like a tongue, especially if you go for the red colour option. It dates back to 1967, designed by Paulin for Artifort, which is still producing the armchair with a solid foam base, covered in just about any fabric you require.

And the price of this space age classic? Not cheap at £1,163.
